Another great way to build goodwill and motivate your team is to be active in your community. You can set up a volunteer event for a weekend or you can collect money for a favorite charity. Offer your team a chance to wear jeans on Friday if they pay $2 into a fund to be given to a charity of choice each month.
Have a Decorating Contest
Decorating can be fun whether it is generically fall, Halloween, or even into the winter holidays. Encourage your staff to decorate their workspaces and award an easy prize to the winner. Everyone in the office can vote or you can choose a winner by committee. Even the employees who don’t win will be excited to work in a decorated space through the fall.
